The Meryem Hotel is a modern property situated near the centre of Marrakech in a small street just off Boulevard Hassan II near to the railway station in the European Quarter of the City. It is approx 100m from the Royal Theatre and approx 600m from the famous Gueliz area- whilst the Djemma El Fnaa Square is approx 15 mins walk away.A local tax is payable per person per night- this is paid direct to the hotel in Morocco Dirhams. Local taxes vary- on average they are from 80p to £2.50 per person per night. The Hotel offers 3 restaurants for guests to enjoy- there is the 'El Marrakchia'- which serves a delicious typically Moroccan menu- the 'Ambassadors' and 'Menara' Restaurants which offer International and Moroccan gastronomy- and the 'Tichka' tearoom which allows guests to appreciate good tea or coffee after an excellent meal in one of the restaurants.
