Looking at the size of Madeira, you may be forgiven for thinking there would be nothing to do other than visit the local cafes, sunbathe on the beach and take lazy walks through tiny villages.  However, you couldn’t be further from the truth.  If you’re looking for a cheap package holiday, Madeira is not only the perfect choice but one visit will not be enough.  Here is just a small selection of things to do and places to see on the island of Madeira:
