Las Vegas Wants UK Tourists
Las Vegas is launching a powerful PR and marketing drive aimed at attracting UK tourists to the city.
Their tourism authority, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, has appointed Hills Balfour Synergy, a UK company, to boost their marketing and PR profile with British holidaymakers.
Managing Director of Balfours, Amanda Hills, said:
“We are currently executing our first Las Vegas sales mission along with the team from Las Vegas and we are conducting meetings with all our trade partners.”
Las Vegas tourism officials have said that there will be 32,000 hotel rooms in the city, in addition to the current capacity by 2011.
In addition, the aim is to increase the volume of international visitors from the 4.7 million visitors in 2007 to 6.2 million visitors by 2010.
