Mexico is one of life’s luxury holidays, but is now becoming increasingly popular according to a travel expert.

The editor of Luxury Travel Magazine, Alyson Cook, said:

“Increasingly, I think Mexico is seen as a romantic destination for the UK luxury market.  Mexico city has some hip hotels. Los Cabos and Baja California and on the central Pacific coast there’s a property called Las Alamandas which the A-listers like.”

Mexico is proving very popular with holidaymakers who want to splash out on a special holiday, and is particularly popular with couples.

Ms Cook added that Mexico is ideal as a luxury holiday hotsport because it is more than just a holiay on a beach.  She stated:

“its not just staying in a hotel, it’s walks in the jungle, communing with the animals, going to climb the cultural pyramids – that’s more adventurous”

We wrote an earlier article about how people expect much more from a holiday nowadays and adventure holidays are increasingly popular as people look for more than just lying by the pool.  Mexico combines the best of all these elements.
