Holiday makers taking a late season ski break to Europe are in for the best ski conditions in 25 years say the Great Britain Ski Club.

There are going to be a large number of ski resorts open until 26th April 2009 across the continent, which will include; Bormio, Italy , Les Arcs, Avoriaz, Meribel in France, Davos and Zermatt in Switzerland.

Austrian ski resorts remaining open until 3rd May are; Ischgl and Obergurgl along with Val d’Isere and Val Thorens in France.

Information Manager of Ski Club Great Britain, Al Morgan recently reassured holiday makers that “there is still plenty of time” to get a winter ski holiday before the end of this season. He said:

“This is definitely the year to make the most of the excellent snow conditions. Skiing in March and April offers long days for skiing, sunny terraces for leisurely lunches and less people than the busy periods. Get out there if you can!”

A number of tips were recently offered by The Ski Club to help travellers make the most out of their winter sports holidays, including leaving early in the morning to avoid expensive restaurants in the mountains and pre booking online to save money.
