Welcome to Hotel Botaniek

Hotel Botaniek The Hotel Botaniek is situated in a quiet street in the historic centre of Bruges, within walking distance of the tourist and cultural attractions for which this medieval Flemish city is justly famous, and which make the Botaniek an ideal base to explore on foot. The Hotel is thus only a few minutes¿ walk from the Town Square and such architectural treasures as the Old Town Hall and the Basilica of the Holy Blood. Occupying a four-storey 18th-century townhouse with a pink-stucco facade, the Hotel is family-owned and has nine guest rooms furnished in a traditional style, though each with its own private modern bathroom. There are three guest rooms on each floor, those on the first floor being the largest with high ceilings, crystal chandeliers and marble fireplaces, while those on the third floor have opening velux windows which afford sweeping views of the city¿s rooftops and spires. Guest accommodation is available mainly as double- and twin-bedded rooms and, though there is also a four-bedded family room, children aged under four cannot be accepted and nor can cots or extra beds be accommodated. One pet per room is however permitted provided it is not let unattended during the day. The Botaniek offers guests the use of a period-style breakfast room and a small lounge with Louis XV-style furnishings, and has a reception desk ¿ with luggage storage - manned by staff who are able to provide tourist-concession tickets and to advise on local restaurants. Although on-site parking is unavailable, secure vehicle parking is possible in a nearby public car park and may be reserved in advance for an additional charge.
